I’ve always enjoyed Bridgford summer sausage and have been a fan of the product for a long time. The flavor has always been great and it used to have a firm texture that sliced perfectly.

However, the two 2lb summer sausages I purchased from Sam’s Club in December 2025 seemed different in texture. They were much softer and tended to fall apart when slicing. I even purchased a second one thinking it might have been a one-time issue, but it had the same result.

I truly enjoy this product and hope the original quality and texture can return. If price adjustments are needed to maintain that quality, I would completely understand. Bridgford has always been a favorite in my home, and I would love to continue buying the same great product I remember.

I (Prefer) Bridgeford Summer Sausage’original flavored over any other Summer Sausage available anywhere. The flavor is a superior blend of ingredients. Very tasty indeed.
