Maybe I haven't eaten summer sausage in a while so my review needs to acknowledge that. Bought at Jewel for a party. Went to cut it up and it was mushy. Never served it cause I expected a solid piece of meat. It almost tasted like liver sausage. It was not like any summer sausage I remember.

Very, very nicee. Good flavor, no outlet residue. Ready to eat. Needs refrigeration. However, then you can throw it in you basket and enjoy with a picnic. Will be okay,

So! It's not the caviar of Summer Sausage, I'm the sort of person who is happy with a can of sardines anyway.

I ordered a few of these to include in DIY snack baskets for Father’s Day and they were a total hit. Everyone said the sausage was tasty and fresh. It’s affordable and makes a great gift for anyone who loves savory snacks.

Love the smoky, meaty flavor, & it reminds me of the sausage my dad used to bring home from hunting trips. My only gripe is that I wish there were an option for pre-sliced for easier snacking on the go.
