Luke made a huge splash when he landed on the professional bass-fishing scene, claiming the FLW Championship as a rookie in 2004, and then following that up 18 months later by winning the 2006 Bassmaster Classic.

He was the youngest angler ever to join the Million Dollar Club.

Luke competed on the FLW Tour for 12 seasons, 2 seasons on the BASS Elite series, and currently fishes the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour.
